2013 Dec 7th Mauldin Christmas Parade - CCI Participation

If you are planning to enter your corvette in this coming Saturday's Mauldin Christmas parade, would you please email me with following:

Your name & year and color of your car
(I am new back to the club and do not recognize the email handles yet)

RE: below recap of previous email:

Cars need to be in place at assigned number in parking lot of Mauldin High School, Butler Road, by 1:30 PM.

I will be there by 1:00 PM in my 1992 White C4 vette.
Tell organziers that you are there for the Carolina Corvette Club entry and they will give you our number and direct you to our spot for staging.
See me for lineup once we know how many will go.

The parade theme is " The Joys of Christmas". Decorate your vette to highlite this theme.

I would suggest making posters for the side of your car, saying "Carolina Corvette Club", maybe mention year of your vette, etc.

If you make posters, do them in colors that contrast the color of your vette so they stand out, again, the parade theme is "Joys of Christmas".

I had good luck in attaching the posters to my cars by creating tabs from the top that would insert down between the outside of window and window weather strip (Rubber, felt or whatever gasket) and then taping at bottom. (Could tape at top and bottom)
May I suggest NOT to use duct tape. Do it and you'll find out why.

Any questions, contact me at terry.merritt@yahoo.com or via cell at 864-380-1443.

Thanks, Terry
